We're very lucky in that respect in this neck of the woods.<br /><br />I'm disappointed to hear that you don't see many Wrens there. The Wren in our garden is very elusive, now that the leaves are out on the garden shrubs. I haven't managed to see one for a few days. Most of the birders there then carry specially programmed CB radios, and the airways are filled with messages as to what is being seen where. Many of the other birds are also relatively confiding too, but not to the same extent as the thrushes. I've never heard of anyone who has theorised on this matter.
