However, I was out on my local patch again last night, and saw a large adult only about 500 metres from where I'd seen the juvenile. Unfortunately this one was approaching the low nest of a pair of my Little Owls and the male owl was calling out a warning. I decided to intervene and got to within about 30 metres of the Fox before it decided to take off! I was starting to wonder if Foxes ever attacked humans!!!Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-57920561609268481062014-05-20T10:30:51.169+01:002014-05-20T10:30:51.169+01:00Thank you, Michał and Piotr. Your last sentence has a note of truth about it as, metaphorically speaking, I often find myself putting words into the mouths of the owls I'm observing, as if they were commenting about my presence! I guess it helps me be aware of what their reaction might be, and safeguards against disturbing them.Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-70054852942751392862014-05-18T09:39:47.047+01:002014-05-18T09:39:47.047+01:00Thank you, Linda.
