It's very rare for me to see the larger females in our garden. I think it's probably only once, when a pair did a coordinated pincer movement on the House Sparrows in a Rhododendron - it looked well-planned!!Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-6350616996940019342013-10-24T10:00:23.524+01:002013-10-24T10:00:23.524+01:00Thank you Linda.Thank you Linda.Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-32860767823375228422013-10-23T23:55:02.587+01:002013-10-23T23:55:02.587+01:00Some great shots of some great birds. Some great shots of some great birds.David M. The rabbit ...WOW!
What an interesting post Richard!
The rabbit does not seem to have mixomatosis, believe me!
I think it might be tame and escaped, who knows...
I have hand raised so many of these wild rabbits when I was a kid!
The Sparrowhawk female is magnificent, I took only pics of males.
You were lucky to catch a glimpse of the snipe, not easy to spot where I live!
Funny, I've just posted about them today, but I have to go to Spain to have a chance and even then it not easy to get close!!
Your female woodpecker is really dirty LOL! Always a great sighting for me!
And the weatears are precious, a bird that has eluded me to this day!
Also a great shot this Hobby, I've them chasing dragonflies but could not takes pics, they were too far...
Cheers, enjoy your sunday!

Noushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11583459949373167021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-5085070982642955982013-10-16T22:46:04.040+01:002013-10-16T22:46:04.040+01:00Love the pictures of the Wheatear and the rabbit:)...Love the pictures of the Wheatear and the rabbit:)Linda Yarrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804368844243909168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-8760733463128195622013-10-16T16:50:25.401+01:002013-10-16T16:50:25.401+01:00Thank you DianeThank you DianeRichard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-4006791559527392992013-10-14T11:38:40.233+01:002013-10-14T11:38:40.233+01:00A great collection of photos, love them all but th...A great collection of photos, love them all but think my favourite is the first one. I hope, like you, thst it's a good sign.

I came to the conclusion that the non-show of the previous post was because I'd drafted it nearly a week earlier. To be safe with this one, I created a totally new post, cut and pasting from the draft that I'd done at the same time as the previous post, and then deleted the old draft. I'll make sure I don't get ahead of myself again!!Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-72301797848756001562013-10-13T18:57:13.035+01:002013-10-13T18:57:13.035+01:00Thank you, John.Thank you, John.Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2300766267906463889.post-44578881747584858712013-10-13T18:55:01.416+01:002013-10-13T18:55:01.416+01:00Thank you Dave.
