Notes on Use of This Blog

1. With posts prior to 5th February, 2013 it is possible to see better quality enlarged images by clicking on the image. When finished, just click outside the enlarged image to return to the blog post.
With posts from 5th February, 2013 there is no advantage in doing this as the images are to the same size and definition.

2. I have a policy that I always reply to comments on my blog, even if it's just to say thank you.

3. Please don't submit comments that include your own web address. For obvious reasons, they will not be published.

4. I'm now on Twitter - @RichardPegler1

Something Strange on Blogger!!

I'm not sure what is going on! Alerted by the fact that neither of my followers (well, there may be a few more than two!) seem to be seeing my latest post (on the subject of More Messing with Macro), I started to investigate and found that none of the links that would normally show this post were showing it. Instead, they show my last post as being 'Damsels and Dragons', over a week ago!

If anyone can offer a suggestion as to why this might be, I'd be interested to hear your ideas please.

In the meantime, here is a link to that 'missing post'.

  1. How odd, I know one of the other blogs I read "Three Counties Herald"/Trevor had a similar sounding issue, I'm not sure what want wrong/right etc might be worth contacting him Richard.

    1. Thanks for your input, Doug. I now think that it's probably because I drafted three posts at the same time, to be released at about 3 or 4 days intervals. Although I scheduled the release, I suspect that blogger hung onto the original date that the post was drafted and got its knickers in a twist. I'll have to be careful with the third post of the trio, which I'll probably re-do and put up this weekend.

I'm pleased to report that the anonymous spam problem seems to be solvable without using word verification. I'm now just using the 'Registered Users - includes OpenID' option in Blogger settings, and I'm not getting any spam - touch wood! I've also not received any contact from people saying that they are no longer able to make comments.
