Little Owls near Packington on 1st February, 2010

At the end of my last post, I stated that I had seen a pair of Little Owls at one of my LO sites. I found a single owl here before Christmas, and again on Christmas day, but had not seen one on any of my visits since. This is why I was excited to find two. I did not publish a picture in my last post because, although I banged off a few shots at ISO 3200 and 60th second (don't stand much chance with a 400mm focal length lens), at first pass I couldn't make anything of them. However, for one of the images, having passed it through my Nikon software, then through Neat Image, and finally through Corel Photo-Paint, I have ended up with an image which does, at least, show two owls!

Please, Blogger, get this mess sorted out.
