Was tied up for most of the day today, but got away at about 4.15, and decided to have another trip out to my recently mentioned Little Owl site to see what was going on. I arrived in bright evening sunshine with no owls visible. Just like last time, they waited until it was getting quite dark before they emerged. (at 4.50) They did, however, hang around long enough for me to take quite a few shots, and experiment with camera settings. The results are not great, but the first three were taken at 1/20 sec, ISO 800, and the last one at 1/4 sec (!), ISO 1250 (taken at 5.15) - all handheld !!!!!! It was great to just sit in my car watching and listening to them, until a heavy downpour sent them back inside.

Really well done Richard, pleased for you. Now you know there is a pair in residence expect the next plan of attack will be juvenile images!?
