My Garden from 8th to 11th January, 2010

Although we have not had as much snow as some people have, our council still don't seem to have enough grit. Our road has not yet been gritted at all, and the road we connect to has not been gritted since the last snowfall. The result is that, now there is a bit of a thaw, the roads are more lethal than ever. with water on ice There have been several bad accidents very local to us, and it seems that some roads in our immediate vicinity have been declared too dangerous, and closed for the duration. Rather than add to the chaos, I have stayed at home, and got on with some indoor chores. However, I have had the odd spell looking out of the window and taking a few more photos of birds in the garden. Nothing unusual has been seen lately - but all birds are a pleasure!
