A New Year, and time to start a new Garden Annual List - and what a way to start! The first bird I saw in my garden on New Year's Day was a Pied Wagtail. By the end of the day I was up to 14 species. including Grey Wagtail. The following day, being confined to home to nurse a cold, I kept my eyes on the garden again, and a male Blackcap appeared. OK, I guess 15 species in two days is not that spectacular, but there are three birds that I am delighted with. Now to try and get some better photos!!
