A day spent exploring Kielder Forest and Hadrian's Wall. Hadrian's wall did not yield any interesting bird sightings, but a stop in the hide near the visitor centre in Kielder gave good views of Red Squirrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker, and Siskin. Photography was not easy under the dense tree canopy.
