South-West Mull on 21st May 2009

This day got off to a wet start, and so we took to the car and headed off towards Lochbuie. Beside Loch Spelve, we found Rock Pipit, Oystercatcher and Curlew. At Lochbuie we were, as usual, accosted by the Chaffinch population which will quite boldly come into your car to take food from you. After this, we set off down to Carsaig, and on the way back, stopped to photograph the falls at Cnoc á Bhraghad, and a female Cuckoo on the telegraph wires. After this, the weather was improving and we skirted round the eastern end of Loch Scridain to Killiemore, where there were Eider at rest.
